‘An artistic collaboration like you’ve (probably) never seen before is hitting Liverpool’s The Royal Standard, a show that encompasses visual arts and creative writing. The Timeline takes place at The Royal Standard on 24th and 25th February with limited availability.
Tickets are available now via @openingnightsuk.
@likemindedproductions have teamed up with three playwrights and a fine artist to develop a uniquely immersive experience that brings to life one shocking event in our recent history.
Writers, @chriswoodward87, @ashleyromzan and @lizzieredo, have come up with a radio play centring on Kristallnacht, one of the many orchestrated attacks by the Nazis on Jews in Germany, which took place on 9th November 1938. The shattered glass and mass devastation left behind on the streets gave it the name: “The Night of Broken Glass.”
Stories within the radio series are based on the real-life accounts of people who witnessed this traumatic event first-hand. Images conjured up by these retellings have been captured and illustrated by fine artist, @jasonkellypainting, and will be shown in tandem with the audio of the full radio play.
As spaces are limited, don’t delay the opportunity to book to see this experimental new show.’ *TRS studio members go free
