Emily Bartlett
Emily's collection of work is pure abstraction. Her approach focuses on developing a dialogue between the intentional and the incidental, through the exploration of shape, mark-making and colour relationships, her own visual vocabulary communicating deeper themes and emotions common to all viewers. By exploiting non-naturalistic brushwork and dynamic form her work is luminous with energy, a profusion of imagination and curiosity. Her multi-scale paintings and works on paper contain many layers, junctions and pockets of space that both recede and amplify to form a charged and active abstract language.
Emily is currently involved in two exhibitions, ‘Mark of a Woman’ online. And 92 Degree’s, Myrtle Street, Liverpool.
