Jason Hollis
Jason Hollis is a multi-disciplinary artist based within ‘The Royal Standard’, Liverpool. His practice spans from creating large scale murals to masonry influenced sculptural pieces. Hollis’ current series, including sculptures as well as canvas, explores the notion of finding a harmonious relationship between chaos and order.
Created from fossil packed limestone, the sculptures are defined by two clear states. One half of the stone is left untouched; as nature intended. The other, refined to the artists desire.
The paintings are upon shaped canvas’, depicting landscapes that are the artists vision of his own Utopia.
