Material (skills/space) SWAP
We recently reviewed our equipment, including monitors, traditional TVs, paints and more. This is the perfect opportunity for artists and organizations to discover hidden treasures—whether for your next installation or workspace — and to give unwanted items a new home. Not only does it support sustainability by upcycling materials, but it also saves costs and inspires creative ideas.
This is something that we regularly practice within our own studios but wish to extend this practice to other organisations around Merseyside. The event will also be a brilliant opportunity to meet other artists and connect with neighbouring art organisations in person.
Our aim is to host regular events like this as a way to create a network of arts organisations that can work together to share resources that are not limited to materials but also the exchange of skills and spaces. So even if you don't have any materials to swap we would love for you to attend to discuss the other resources we all have that can be shared and exchanged.
You can get access to our modest inventory list of materials here. they are available to exchange for items our studio's could benefit from such as organisational tools and equipment for our archival materials, drills, lock boxes, cooking and dining equipment.
