✨meet our new TRS artist leads✨

We’re buzzing with excitement to introduce the new members of The Royal Standard team: Four inspiring artist leads who are bringing fresh ideas, bold perspectives, and a shared commitment to connecting creativity with community.

Their vision? To expand TRS's social engagement programmes, launch dynamic community workshops, and establish monthly crits aimed at bringing people together and reaching out to locals. It’s all about building bridges between art and the people who inspire it.

Georgina Tyson

Georgina Tyson is a writer, occasional visual artist, and facilitator. Her practice is ‘performance-based data-mining’—an indulgent exercise of intense oversharing using low-resolution and low-culture mediums and aesthetics to tell stories with recurring themes of class, the performance of the self, and food, particularly in the current and predicted digital landscape.

Dongni Liang

Dongni Liang works across 3D, film, and AR/VR. Her work explores the complex and often tense relationships between nature, technology, and humanity. By combining short films with computer-generated content, she creates immersive environments that invite viewers to engage with her futuristic realms. A former artist-in-residence at FACT Liverpool, she also collaborates with local NPOs to deliver creative workshops.

Olivia Vacanti is a Marketing and Events Executive with a vibrant background in the arts. Passionate about printmaking, she has collaborated with numerous galleries across Liverpool, curating exhibitions and leading hands-on workshops. With experience in both contemporary and commercial sectors, she aims to excel at fostering community connections and delivering memorable and accessible experiences within the arts.

And the best part? This is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for an even brighter, more inclusive TRS future. (P.S. One more artist bio is on the way—watch this space or subscribe trs newsletters below!)
